Features

Alumasc Apex Heritage cast aluminium rainwater systems comprises a range of traditional gutter profiles, round and square pipes and all associated fittingsd and accessories.The range has been specially designed to provide all the essential architectural features appropriate to traditionally designed buildings, in lightweight , fully finished products.

Gutters and fittings are manufactured using modern aluminium casting techniques, whilst retaining a surface texture that echoes the traditional appearance of cast iron.

General Description

Alumasc is one of the leading aluminium diecasting specialists. All products are manufactured in the alumasc foundry at burton latimer in northamptonshire. Cast aluminium gutters and fittings are made from commercial LM2 and LM6 grades of aluminium alloy to BS EN 1559:1997, BS EN 1676; 1997 and BS EN 1706;1998. Nominal thichness 4mm.

All gutters are provided with holes or slots for joints to be secured with screws or bolts. Victorian ogee and Moulded no 46 gutters are provided with slots in the rear wall for direct fixing. All fixing brackets and fittings are provided with holes for fixing where appropriate.

Gutters are gravity diecast, whilst fittings are pressure diecast in the same production environment and subject to stringent quality control procedures.

Alumasc Heritage rainwater systems in aluminium are manufactured to commercial foundry and engineering tolerances: cast gutter straightness to within plus or minus 6.5mm per 1830mm length.

Alumasc is allways ready to offer technical advice and quotations on radius gutters, rainwater heads, and box gutters to suit bespoke requirements.

Finishes

Alumasc can provide aluminium rainwater products in plain finish or in the Raincoat range of factory applied polyester powder coatings to bs 6496;1984 specification for powder organic coatings for application and stoving to aluminium alloy extrusions, sheet and preformed sections for external architectural purposes, and for the finish on aluminium alloy extrusion, sheet and preformed sections coated with powder organic coatings.
